[ September 11, 2010; ] Just one more week! [ August 28, 2010; 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. ] Hard to believe the new season kicks off in just a couple of weeks! The summer just flew by; it seemed we were doing something every month since our return from Atlanta in April. Wait! We WERE doing something every month since our return for the World Championship in April! There was: IEEE-Robotics and Automation Society [...] Interesting look at the new Samantha module and Samomoto, a (free!) app that allows wifi control of a robot via the Samantha module, emulating standard game controller hardware: Way to go Dr. Dan and Umbrella Guy! You’ll catch a couple of glimpses of Team Duct Tape, too. Taking robotic competitions to the next level, teams of Aldebaran robots (like the one we met at the FIRST World Championship in Atlanta in April), competed in a soccer match at the Robot World Cup in Singapore. Team Duct Tape is delighted to send congratulations to FLL TechnoForce member, Tommy, for his terrific win as champion of the Tampa Bay Spelling Bee Collaborative! TDT helps mentor TechnoForce, and TechnoForce has always been an encouraging and enthusiastic supporter of Team Duct Tape.
