TDT Ready to Rock! Learning is for Everyone,parent sponsor of FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Team Duct Tape,is coordinating the creation of a second team –TDT II - in the Brandon area,and we’re looking for some interested,energetic,and enthusiastic Brandon/Seffner area teens who want to be part of TDT Part Deux! We’re delighted to [...] [...] It’s hard to believe what a full summer we had –it seems TDT has gone nonstop from the end of last season to the start of the new one. We’ve enjoyed demoed everywhere from the Renaissance Festival to an Orlando after school program,conducted outreach programs at the Electrathon Festival and the Moffitt [...] [...] [ August 17,2011;1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. ] Team Duct Tape will be bringing our happy ‘bot to Hillsborough County’s 2011 Secondary Science Professional Study day next Wednesday. The event,titled,“Accessing the World through Science” will be held at Alonso High School in Tampa,where it will bring together secondary science teachers from the 8th largest school district in the [...] [...] FIRST HQ A TDT co-coach is up at FIRST HQ in Manchester,NH this week for the annual meeting and sent back photos of 200 Bedford Street for curious Team Duct Tape members. Although it can seem a little dichotomous that an organization so devoted to 21st century STEM learning,is headquartered in a 150 year [...] [...] Team Duct Tape and Reach Up Students Team Duct Tape members had fun introducing Conway Middle School’s Reach Up! students to FTC,and it looks like the students had a pretty good time learning about FTC and driving the robot.
